Goals and Preferences

The research and training program "Goals and Preferences" focuses on the multidisciplinary investigation of human decision making. To this aim, we integrate approaches from cognitive and social psychology, behavioral economics and neuroeconomics, psychiatry and cognitive neuroscience. Most specifically, we are interested in exploring how individual goals and preferences influence human decision making, and how cognitiven and emotional/motivational factors interact in the selection and formation of behavioral goals and preferences.

The Research Training Program "Goals and Preferences" is scheduled to start April 1st, 2007. Currently, funding is available for 3 years. Interested students can access a detailed call for applications here
